We spent 2.5 years chasing answers for our son’s We spent 2.5 years chasing answers for our son’s severe eczema and food reactions, tried the diets, all the creams, the specialists. What finally changed things was working smarter, not harder.

We’re now 9 months eczema-free and forever grateful we didn’t give up.

We spent two and a half years and over $40,000 sea We spent two and a half years and over $40,000 searching for answers as our son’s health declined. Severe eczema, a growing list of food allergies, swollen lymph nodes all over his little body, GI symptoms, and frequent respiratory flares.

Ironically, most of what truly helped didn’t come from the interventions we poured time and money into.

When his eczema fully resolved last May, I knew I couldn’t keep what we had learned to myself.

Comment HELP and I’ll send you our full story. I share the questions we started asking, the factors we initially overlooked, and the framework that finally brought clarity.

Here’s to hope, healing, and another family finding answers 🤎

When your child is covered in rashes and reacting When your child is covered in rashes and reacting to foods, your brain won’t rest until it finds a reason. And you’re usually your first suspect.

My gestational diabetes, breastmilk, stress & diet may have played a role, but 2.5 years in, they weren’t the thing keeping our son sick.

We used topical steroids for almost a full year, m We used topical steroids for almost a full year, much longer than I had originally planned. If I’d known then what I know now, we may have been able to avoid them altogether, but I’m still grateful for the role they played. They gave us a sense of normalcy back and helped us realize that what we thought was the root cause, food allergies, actually wasn’t. And they calmed the chaos enough for our nervous systems to settle, so we could think clearly and eventually uncover what was truly driving his eczema.

Today, we’re nine months eczema-free and eleven months steroid-free.

Comment STEROIDS and I’ll send you a link to our full eczema story.

After years of scratch sleeves, and a year relying After years of scratch sleeves, and a year relying on topical steroids just to function, we finally uncovered what was at the root of our son’s eczema.

It changed everything for our family.

Now I share our story in hopes that other mamas don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode as long as we did. Comment CLARITY and I’ll send you the link 🤎

Traveling to London with severe food allergies fel Traveling to London with severe food allergies felt very doable.

Two things made a huge difference:
1️⃣ No language barrier. I could ask detailed questions and actually understand the answers. A language barrier was the trickiest part of our Spain trip.
2️⃣ Food allergies are clearly labeled and taken seriously. Servers quickly checked with the kitchen anytime we had questions and never seemed the least bit annoyed.

One thing we’ve learned about traveling with food allergies (or eating out in general): if the staff seem unsure or dismissive, we move on. It’s not worth the stress. We want to relax and actually enjoy ourselves when we eat out.

Our food allergy journey is still unfolding. But if you want to read how we healed our son’s eczema, and what has caused our list of food allergies to start shrinking, comment HOPE and I’ll send our story 🤍
