At the beginning of 2018, my daughter Brighton was born. All of the sudden, I was overwhelmed by how much better I wanted to be for her sake. I felt so sad when I thought of her picking up my insecurities and having to deal with them in her own life. I had been struggling with social anxiety since I was a teenager and it had gotten worse the previous year. I knew I needed tools in order to move forward, but hesitated to go to therapy due to my pride and not wanting to spend extra money on it. Eventually, I got over all that and told Anders I was going to see someone.

I reached out to a local therapist via text but as fate would have it, she didn’t respond for a couple of days. Within that short time frame, I found out about life coaching through my friend, Catie Borland’s Facebook live. I dove in immediately and was already hooked by the time the therapist responded. I feel so sure that God orchestrated all of that. He made sure I was open and ready to learn and then gave me the tools I needed.

As cliche as it sounds, it really is hard to put into words how much my life has changed in the past year. For as long as I can remember, I have taken my physical health very seriously, but never realized how much I was neglecting my emotional health. For several months, I have practically immersed myself in learning mental and emotional tools to change my life (and yours!) Every insecurity, character flaw and struggle all start with a single thought. Peace, change and triumphs also begin with a thought. I am more confident, disciplined and hopeful than I have ever been before, all thanks to new thoughts. I am still as imperfect as ever, but I’ve also adopted the thought that since I’m human, I’m not supposed to be perfect, so that’s fine too!

During my first session with a new client she said to me, “Oh my goodness, people have always told me that I need to think more positively, but no one has ever showed me how!” If I could choose any job, I would pick this one. Watching as the tools I teach click for other women brings me so much joy. I know where they’re at. I can relate to how overwhelming anxiety, self-doubt and life in general can be. I also know how freeing it is to let go of it. I absolutely love being part of that process.

If you’re reading this, I want you to know that your potential is truly limitless. Those hopes and dreams you have for yourself, exist for a reason… Deep meaningful friendships, a thriving marriage, an amazing relationship with your child, being able to fill your time with things you enjoy, using your gifts and talents to bless others. God planted those dreams inside of you and has given you everything you need in order to bring them to life. I’m so glad you’re here because I truly believe that these tools are part of the magic he has placed in your path. The woman you want to be, she’s already in there! You just have to step into that role and I can hardly wait to show you how.

Love,

Kaili
